We’ve finished the first full week of school, and things are going well.  Compared to this time last year, things are going much better.  Even compared to the end of last year, things are going much better!  The mornings are so much smoother than last year: I haven’t once had to ask, “Am I the only person in this house who wants you two to go to school?”  And, neither kid has gotten in trouble yet, that I know of. 

By this time last year, Dee Dee was on her teacher’s naughty list for getting out of line (because she saw her mom and Audio at the playground near the school and stepped toward them to yell, “hello!”).  And, Audio got in trouble the first week of preschool last year because she, “kept dancing after she was supposed to stop dancing.”  I found it difficult to see anything wrong with either of those actions. Either way, nothing like that has happened this year, so far.
